House mom
A house mom (or house mother) is a paid staging coordinator in the adult entertainment industry. The house mother oversees conduct by performers in the dressing room, as well as making sure that performers reach the stage on time, wearing the appropriate dress or costumes, and introducing new performers to the club's code of conduct. In most clubs, the house mother is paid a set fee at the end of each shift by the strippers.
A house mother also builds a relationship with the girls in her charge, and she often acts as an intermediary in disputes.
